We followed our passion

Champ de la Fontaine is a joint project of Christine and Luc. Both born and raised in Antwerp, with 25 years of business experience, we listened to our hearts. Since the beginning of 2017, we have been living on an old farm, working on 7ha in the Morvan and taking care of a herd of Corsican dairy sheep.

Our farm is a testing ground with a life with respect for the environment and in balance with nature and our animals as a common thread. We set up various projects here with passion.

In one of the old stables is a gite for a maximum of 4 people. Our love for the interior is reflected in a mix-and-match of vintage, antique and comfortable furniture (photo of a design piece attached)

A small cheese dairy was built with our own hands, where fresh sheep cheeses and a Tomme de Morvan are produced. Lamb is offered several times a year

We have again planned an orchard and the typical landscape with a multitude of low hedges between the small plots.

We don't work alone; 3 dogs, cats, sheep and chickens all have a (small) task

Biodiversity is key

Permaculture & Pâtur'Ajuste

The gardens (vegetable gardens) are laid out according to the ideas of permaculture in which we pursue three ethical principles: caring for the earth, caring for people and sharing fairly.

Pâtur’Ajuste is part of an agriculture that mobilizes nature with an objective of quality at work, product quality, environmental quality of production and animal well-being.

Valeurs du Parc naturel régional

The “Valeurs Parc naturel régional” brand is given to accommodations restaurateurs and producers who work together in the Morvan for the preservation and enhancement of the environment in which they live. Through their actions, they ensure the maintenance and development of the quality of the landscapes and characteristic environments of the Park.

For us, this means giving you a personnal stay, in touch with our territory. It’s taking the time to show you our landscapes and our traditions. It is welcoming you to authentic places, built or renovated by local artisans, respectful of resources and nature.
